This is just a brief note to those of you who have emailed me in the past for one reason or another but whose email address I’ve lost somewhere along the way. - Greens!

I got a message from the managing editor of Schmap telling me that one of my photos I’d posted on Flickr had been “short-listed for inclusion in the second edition of our Schmap England Guide, to be published late June 2008.” - … and I’m back

Well, hopefully everything should be back as it was. I removed all the entries so it was easier to go through each one and assign tags to make searching easier. - I remember this place

Wow. Two posts in two months … that’s bad, even for me. - More thoughts about this place

I’ve been unhappy with this place for a while. I’m chuffed with the way it looks and is laid out (ignoring the fact that Internet Explorer is a pile of shit and gets it wrong) but I always feel like the posts are haphazard and cluttered. - Timmargh.me as a graph

Following MHC and Stony in a meme-type way, here’s Timmargh.me shown as a graph. - A few statistics

This site has just passed the 1,000 comments marker so I thought I’d bore you all with some stats. - Look, just F*** OFF!!

Some of you may be oblivious to it, some of you may have noticed something, but I am fighting a war with spammers. - A mysterious peak

I had a quick glance at my Mint stats today and I spotted a mysterious peak on my Fresh View “past month” graph. - Blocked

A while ago I promised better entries in this blog thing of mine but, as you may have noticed, they haven’t appeared. - Massage my ego

Whilst catching up on my backlog of unread RSS feeds, I came across “Web Ego Assessment” on Melvin Rivera’s All Forces which pointed out ego surf — this is a site on which you enter your name and site address and it goes off, trawls various search engines and directories and gives you a score based on how often your name and site crops up. - The rot has set in

I’ve suddenly realised (about 6 months after everyone else … as usual) that this place has gone to shit. I’m quite chuffed with the makeover, but the latest slew of entries seem like my brain is just leaking crap onto the keyboard. - So, what do you think?

After possibly the least stressful update I’ve ever experienced — all changes are initial ideas, i.e. I didn’t deliberate — we have a new look. - I’m getting itchy fingers

I’ve decided that I’m going to put all this time I’ve got on my hands to good use and redesign this place. Again. But, this time I’ll put more effort into it (i.e. more than the usual 10%) and, once it’s finished, I’ll leave it alone for at least nine months - Yuck! Ugly icons

You may notice the text buttons have been replaced with images in the top-right part of the page - this is so I can adopt the feed icon that so many other people are - This is getting ridiculous …

I have redesigned yet again. Honestly, if you look closely you’ll see the changes … - Bored already

Yes, I’m already bored of this site design - that’s gotta be a record for me. - digg, Gravatar and Mint

The more observant ones amongst you (excepting, of course, readers with visual impairments) will notice that the site has changed. On the surface the changes look minimal - an extra column has appeared but it doesn’t contain anything new … yet. - I’m working …

… on a new design for this place. It’s nothing radical and it’s quite similar to the current layout, but I want to make a change and then add more stuff once I’ve ironed out the first major wrinkles. - A bit of spit and polish

I’ve spent some time in the last day or so polishing up this site. You may have noticed a few subtle changes … or maybe not. - Information for RSS/Atom feed subscribers

I have no idea if anyone reads this site via the RSS or Atom feed but I thought I’d better post this just incase anyone does. - Statistics filler post

I haven’t gotten round to making a post for a while and I don’t think I will for another while yet, so here’s a pointless filler with some useless site statistics. You may remember I mentioned that I’d installed Mint a while back and it is from this useful (and addictive) app that these numbers come from. - Minted

I’ve just installed Mint, the new website statistics application from that genius known as Shaun Inman. - Did you feel that?

I’ve just upgraded to Movable Type version 3.2 and it went flawlessly. As an added bonus the MTIncludePlus and Gravatar plugins still work. - Sorry for the delay

I’ve been more than a bit negligent concerning this site lately. I’ve been busy going to the hospital, having bandages removed, having bandages put on, crying in pain or smiling like a drug addict on pain killers. - Show your face

I don’t know … I go to all the trouble (a staggering 4 minutes work) of adding Gravatar support to my comments, only to discover that 95% of you people don’t have one! - Ooh, I’m famous

I’d never really considered what browsers people were using to view this site. I do try and check how it looks in various browsers when I make any layout changes, but I’d never thought about percentages. After reading Interesting Stats on CreativeBits I thought I share my own browser statistics. - I’m on the map
