I’m getting itchy fingers

I’ve decided that I’m going to put all this time I’ve got on my hands to good use and redesign this place. Again. But, this time I’ll put more effort into it (i.e. more than the usual 10%) and, once it’s finished, I’ll leave it alone for at least nine months.
So, I would be grateful if any of you guys could leave a comment with some suggestions for things I should include or leave out, and please feel free to tell me if there’s something that bugs you either about this site or others that you visit so I can avoid alienating people. Be honest - I can take a beating.
Also, I may need some help producing some graphics … so are any of you any good with Photoshop and are willing to donate some free time in return for me donating to your favourite charity?

To be honest I’m so lazy right now that I really can’t be bothered to change it anyway - I’ll just be make some minor cosmetic changes now and again. - Timmargh
I like all the functionalities you put in here, Tim! I would tweak the colours though, make them more lively and have better contrast.
But that’s about it. - MHC
The only suggestion I’d make is maybe a picture of Timm-ayyy!

Aha! Now that’s not a bad idea. Hang on … * scours internet * … you mean this one? The images are missing from that archive but I’ve still got the originals somewhere.

I Love all your designs, and I’m sure you’ll come up with something cool. my favorite to this date was 2 (or 3) designs ago, the one with the nice header picture.
If you like web design, but don’t feel like redesigning your own site every month, you can create web designs and release them to the public by uploading them to Open Web Design. - LobsterMan

great site, tim, the only quibble I have is that the present colours are a bit SAD, know what I mean? Like Victorian mourning dress. Could we have some springtime colours (it’s snowing as I write) just to cheer us up? - charlesdawson

Steel Dolphin Creative - Tools - Color Scheme Tool. It’s very good you can even choose which type scheme you want or need. The suggestions change according to the primary colour you have chosen and the type of scheme. - MHC
