I forgot to mention: I was mentioned on the BBC’s Ouch! magazine weblog blogwatch - fame at last!
Seriously, though, it’s opened me up to a wider audience including some disabled bloggers - “TIMMARGH!!” to Gimpy Mumpy, Bert, Agent Fang and Luke.

"Crip" wasn’t a new word for me, but I hadn’t seen it used in such a way before - some of my friends have called me "cripple" purely to shock people nearby who didn’t know us … most amusing.
