A garden centre  5

Prepare yourselves for another white-knuckle, spine-tingling adventure!!!1!1

Today me and the carer went to Webbs of Wychbold, a huge garden shop that sells much more than just flowers and water features, but our main reason for going was the branch of HobbyCraft that resides inside. The carer makes cards as a hobby and had been given a voucher to use in-store, so off we toddled.

As craft shops go it was pretty standard and sold, as you’d expect, lots of stuff to do with craft. The smooth flooring and long narrow aisles made whizzing around at 80% speed (around 8 miles per hour) nerve-wracking and great fun. I paused for several brief moments to take some more camera-phone pictures to prove that I had actually been through my front door:

There was a huge display of glue too, but I was too buy taking deep breaths and enjoying the swirling colours to bother taking a photo.

I was quite shocked and very nearly walked out (metaphorically) when I discovered HobbyCraft’s horrible secret … battery hen enclosures:

After spending “some” cash on the much needed craft supplies we perused the rest of Webbs and bought a few non-craft related items. I very nearly bought a white chocolate egg that contained raisins — it was an extortionately high £20 but it really did look delicious:

Hmm, chocolate … *drool*

Oh well, it would’ve been murder for my (apparent) diet!

Great timing of that photo, you actually caught two chicks making a break for it… What you might call a “crafty” escape [humming the great escape theme song…] - tugger

Mmm, card, yummy card, pretty card… (I like card). - The Goldfish

Oh no…. that’s a shop that would have me parting with my money. (Drooling over the rubber stamps). - Diddums
