Photos, Flickr and, erm, stuff

Lately I’ve been trawling around Flickr, commenting on pictures, joining groups and adding some of my own photos.
I read about Flickr some time ago but never actually got round to having a look until recently - it’s very well put together and they’ve obviously spent a lot of time listening to people and coming up with some good ideas.
I uploaded some photos of Worcester taken by my nephew and within a couple of hours I got a message from a guy asking if he could use them on a site he was working on - I asked my nephew, who said “yes” and they were duly added. Instant fame for him.
I already have my own photoblog but I feel pressured to put only what I consider to be the good photos on there, whereas on Flickr I can put loads of mediocre ones and the law of averages states that at least one person will like them due to the sheer size of the audience. Plus the advantage of all the cool features like adding notes to a photo and being able to keep a list of your favourites.
