“Agua” icon set

I’m a sucker for changing the icons on my iMac - I find a set I like, install them and then get bored after about a fortnight and change them to something else. This set by David Lanham, however, has been on my desktop for at least two months.

All the usual folders are catered for — home, movies, pictures etc. — and most have a button-style alternative for sidebar/toolbars:

There is also a set of extras featuring something I’ve never seen before and, when you think about it, is a really good idea and that’s alternative versions of icons that feature a globe with Asia in the foreground rather than the usual Europe/Africa or Americas display:

haha, i ALWAYS change my icons. i actually bought Pixadex the other day because it’s so great! i’ve got well over 2k icons in there which are chopped/changed very regularly! i love David Lanham sets as well…those first 2 sets are really nice, but i dont like ANY iDisk icons…think they look really cheap. where do you get your icons from? - Jasper
I get my icons from The Iconfactory, InterfaceLIFT and ResExcellence and from various individuals’ sites like Afterglow, Bartleme Design, Enhanced Labs, RAD.E8, RIMSHOTDESIGN, smhill.net, WatiWorks
I bought CandyBar a while back and eventually got Pixadex when I got snowed under with icons. - Timmargh
I used to change my system icons and theme, but I always went back to the original Apple/Aqua so I just keep it that way nowadays. but that set is really beautiful. - LobsterMan
thanks so much for those links Tim. some i havent used there. the individuals sites i find are usually the best for decent icons :) - Jasper
