Mac OS X 10.4 “Tiger”

My copy of Tiger finally arrived; one faultless “Archive and install” later and I’m swimming in it’s goodness.
Early highlights for me are a couple of the biggies: Dashboard, which I knew was gonna be fun, and Spotlight which is just so damn useful.
There are plenty of other sites/blogs going into detail about all the new features, so I’ll just leave it at that for now.
I’m not blown away by Tiger.
This isn’t to say it’s not good, but from the various reports coming in, Tiger seems to offer more to the Switcher, or recent Switcher like yourself than to someone like me who’s been using the Mac for quite some time.

Nice review - nice to see someone who isn’t just gushing on about how fallible Apple are and how crap Microsoft are … even though they are ;^)
I am still counting my blessing at having switched, although the gloss is slowly wearing off - there are a few annoyances starting to creep through … - Timmargh
